Theme: THE SCRIPTURE CANNOT BE BROKEN
Text: Jn. 10:22-36
The annual feast of dedication was introduced to commemorate the cleansing of the temple after the pollution by Antiochus Epiphanes, the king of Syria, and a tyrant, who offered a pig on the altar as a sacrifice to the god, Zeus and sprinkled its broth all over the temple in 164BC. During the feast, the Jews desired the Lord Jesus to confirm His identity. But He wondered that they hadn’t yet believe Him and pointed to the supernatural manifestations (works) that had followed His ministry, executed in the name of the Father. He ultimately reaffirmed His oneness with the Father; which made them feel that He had blasphemed, and wanted to stone Him. He pointed them to the law which said that they (human beings) were gods. Then, concluded with the revelation: the SCRIPTURE CANNOT BE BROKEN.
The word ‘scripture’ (Greek – Graphȇ) means a document ie “holy writ,” which covers its content or a statement in it. It was authored by the all-knowing God, and remains perpetually characterized as the living voice of God. The Lord said, “it cannot be BROKEN”. The word translated ‘broken’ was ‘luo’ which means “To loosen or unbind”. It means that its force cannot be weakened, undone, or neutralized having been authored or inspired by the Omnipotent God (2Tim.3:15).
Knowledge and application of scriptures to life-events will lead to a life of health and wealth, even a fulfilled peaceful life (Rom.15:4). Let us, therefore, apply scriptures to various challenges of life and time, and see the benefits.

PRAYER POINTS
(Ps.103: 1-8) –Let us lift up holy hands to worship and adore the Lord whose mercies we enjoy daily.
(Rom.8:26)-Let us invite the Lord’s attention to assist us in this prayer exercise
(Isa.8:18)-Let’s pray for GS and all his children (both biological and spiritual): that the God of heaven will keep them throughout this trying times; that the Lord will provide all their needs and make them signs to their neighbours.
(Ps.71:7-8)-This week the GS shall be 76years old, let us pray that the Lord will keep his health and maintain his strength like that of 38 years old young man.
(Heb.11:12)-Let us pray that the Lord will draw multitudes into the kingdom through the GS’ broadcast.
(Ps.5:6)-Pray that the Lord will frustrate all people involved in the production of false COVID-19 vaccines that have some other evil purpose than immunization.
(Ps.142:6)-Pray that the Lord will deliver His people and the poor natives from the hands of armed Fulani herdsmen. Turning the invaders back to their place of origin.
(1Kgs.3:5)-What would you want the Lord to do for you?
