WATCHMAN CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC RENEWAL MOVEMENT FIRST FRUIT FASTING EXERCISE    August 1-3, 2020   Theme:       APPROPRIATING THE AUGUST CHILD             (Day 1) Texts:         Matt.11:12, Phil.3:12-14   ‘To appropriate’ in our context means ‘To take Possession of by force’ as after an invasion; capture’.   “August” means ‘Profoundly honored, revered, majestic, noble, grand, impressive. “Child” is figurative of “a product; realization of something one is pregnant of or desirous of having”.   So our theme is about: capturing one’s concerns; acquiring ambitions. The said child  may pertain to a physical desire like the thirst of David (2Sam.23:15), desire of Hanna (1Sam.1:5,9-11), heart cry of Gideon (Judg.6:11-14) or a spiritual acquisition like the longing of Apostle Paul (Phil.3:12-14) and it can be like the just desire of Jabez (1Chr.4:9-10). This noble desired need can be accomplished through scriptural processes amongst which is “Combination Therapy”
