WATCHMAN CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC RENEWAL MOVEMENT
2021 FIRST FRUIT FASTING EXERCISE Jan.20 – Feb. 2021 (Day 1)
Theme: IDYLLIC ERA OF CONCEPTION AND PARTURITION (CHILD DELIVERY)
Last year (2020) was declared a year of score – score. The word
‘score’ was shown to mean “
gain points in a game / increase in marks”; and “
assess or assign a grade or rank to”. And that year was loaded with spiritual exercises that elevated participants, as we passed judgment on unsavory situation that reared up their heads.
It has been reiterated that our yearly declarations were not like those of fortune tellers or predicting ‘prophets’ seeking the recognition of men and relevance in the polity; but rather spirit-led declarations that convey, confer or bestow the power to successfully navigate through the period (Lk.5:5, Ezk.44:30).
There is power in the tongue, and in the word (Prov.18:21, Eccl.8:4) and as one grows in the kingdom, there is such an exponential growth in this power that it becomes a catalyst for prosperity (2Cor.20:20, cp Isa.44:24-26). Those that understand this truth treasure the words or declarations of genuine servants of God and run with such declarations (Lk.1:34-38, 45, 5:5).
The believer is called to walk by faith and not by the whims of the natural senses (2Cor.5:7, Jn.17:14,16, 15:19) and the God of Israel is still the God that puts a difference between His people and others (Ex.8:22,23, 11:6-7, Isa.43:3).
Our General Pastor prophetically sang a song during the last Charismatic Hour message of the year 2020 saying “Merriment Time in the midst of troubles, hardship…” (Job 5:22).
The word of the Lord declared the year ‘idyllic’; a year of conception and child delivery.
The word
idyllic means
Excellent and delightful in all respects. Something
‘excellent’ is very good, of the highest quality, splendid, first-class.
Something
delightful is greatly pleasing, delicious.
How can one describe the experiences of
Noah and family (Gen.7:8-13, 8:14-21), the
Israelites after crossing the Red Sea (Ex.14:31), Erstwhile barren
Hanna with her multiple pregnancies (1Sam.2:1,20-21), the
apostles encounter with the risen Lord (Jn.20:19-23), the
impotent man at the temple gate (Acts 3:6-11).
We are in the day of the Lord proper, and it is a season of supernatural manifestations.
The concept of Oasis-in-the-desert must not fade from the mind of the believer (1Pt.2:9,10)
In the course of the 21 days fast, we shall expand on things to expect and things to do to realize the expectation. Fasting and prayer potentiate faith, and draw down divine power (Matt.17:18-21, Isa.58:3,6-12).
PRAYER POINTS
■(Zech.12:10, 4:7) – Pray for grace to successfully go through the exercise.
■(Eph.1:17-19) – Pray for revelations and conception of necessary tools of life at this period
