Welcome to the 3rd day of the feast. The spiritual overflow being enjoyed is apparent as the apostolic anointing is flowing everywhere.
We have seen that the ordination from the man of God released the chariots of God to attend to God’s servants making for an enabling environment, resources and status.
It was shown that an enabling environment is that warm, welcoming space that facilitates optimal productivity. It goes with peace, harmony and safety.
It was also shown that the unleashed heavenly agents bring resources for the accomplishment of divine projects, and it takes obedience to the principles of prosperity to harness the blessings.
Today, we shall be looking at
Topic: CONQUERING WITH THE CHARIOT OF ENABLING STATUS
Subtexts: 2Kgs.6:16-23; Ps.92:9-12; Jer.30:17; 33:6
To conquer means to overcome and take control of a place, people or thing successfully.
By status, we mean the position or rank of someone when compared to others in a society or place. It covers health (health rating), influence (connection, etc), spiritual manifestations (authority), etc. The Lord Jesus enjoyed perfect health until he went to Calvary to bear the sin, sickness and sorrows of mankind (Isa.53:3-5; Jn. 19:30). He also knew when to rest and recuperate (Mk.6:31; 4:35-38). His personal spiritual exercises definitely did not wear Him down but rather energized Him (Mk. 1:30, Lk. 6:12). Had Jesus been sickly, His accomplishment would have been limited (cp. Jn.20:30, 21:25).
The Lord’s earthly ministry raked in resource personnel that had key parts to play in His earthly mission like Nichodemus, Joseph of Arimathea etc. (Jn. 3:1-10, 7: 45-51, 19:38-39, Lk. 23:50-53)
The power of God was available to meet all the needs of His ministry as none had witnessed. (Jn. 3:2, 10:38, 15:24, Acts 10:38) The Lord Jesus did not operate a beggarly ministry but a very prosperous one, as all challenges were duly neutralized (cons. Matt. 14:15-21, 17:24-27; Mk. 4:35-41, Jn. 8:52-59)
The magnitude of work given to our Movement demands great divine attention (cons. 1 Sam. 2:9, Lk. 12:48b, Acts 1:8, 1 Cor. 15:8-10), and the apostolic declaration has kick-started the 3rd phase of our Elijah-like ministry.
The chariots of enabling status have been unleashed, so we must get into God’s business with diligence, intentionality and much assurance. (Isa. 60:1-5) The flood gates are open to give divine protection and preservation; health and healing; restoration of lost resources; resurrection of fallen projects; revelation of divine will/intention; replenishment and robust overflow of fellowship centres; and recruitment of skilled vessels for God’s service (Lk. 1:37,45, Ps. 91:16)
It takes FAITH in the FINISHED WORK and God’s FAITHFULNESS to make prayers and decrees to triumph. (Mk. 11:23,24; Mal. 3:6, Zech. 1:6; Jer. 32:27
