  WATCHMAN CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC RENEWAL MOVEMENT FIRST FRUIT FASTING FOR MARCH 2021    Day 2   Theme:  IDYLLIC ERA OF CONCEPTION AND PARTURITION (MARCH CONVOCATION) Theme:        THE TREASURY OF THE TRAILBLAZER   Yesterday, we saw the Watchmen as having been called to lead other believers at this last lap of the Christian race. The leader cannot do without knowledge. Knowledge of the capabilities of the tongue is crucial, hence the first message thorns and thistles in the untreated tongue.   Today, we shall be considering another message pertaining to the tongue   Topic:    THE TREASURE OF THE TREATED TONGUE Sub-Texts:     Pro.18:21; Rom.10:6-10. A treasure is any possession that is highly valued by its owner; a collection of precious things; accumulated wealth inform of money, jewels, etc.   The human tongue has inherent power to both create and destroy life. When the tongue is crude, its capacity to seamlessly generate life is grossly impaired by the existence of life-sapping elements or traits. Such impurities generate sin, and sin attracts death or loss of life (Ezek.18:20). Therefore, such negative traits, potentiate the tongue’s disposition to destroy (Pro.18:21; Jas.3:5,6, 8-10).   But when the negative forces are taken care of through divinely assisted exercises (Matt.12:34; Ps.1:1-2; Isa.6:5-7), a sound tongue with amazing potential is birthed – the kind of tongue possessed by the Master.   The characteristics of a sound or refined tongue include graciousness (Lk.4:20-22, 11:27), courteousness or politeness (Pro.15:1,2; 1Pet.3:8), patience/slowness to speak (Pro.18:13; Jas.1:19), quietness (1Pet3:4; 1Thess4:11), selectiveness of words (Pro.25:11, 20:15), positiveness (cons. 2kgs.4:21-23, 26; Jn.11:11-13).   When the tongue is sound, the ability to maximize its positive potentials increases tremendously.   Such a healthy tongue is: A sacred source of inspiration and uplift to the downcast (Job 22:22-23, 28-29) An irresistible instrument of salvation (Rom.10:8-10; 1:16) An incontestible implement of creation and restructuring (Mk.11:23, Job 22;28) A veritable vehicle of proclamation of the acceptable year of the Lord (Isa.61:1-3).   Awareness of these functions or capabilities of the little member will launch the believer to another realm of kingdom performance.   Let’s take the decision never to go negative with our tongues hereafter but rather generate life; for therein lies the divine purpose of the little organ. (Jas.3:10-12).
